About the Project
Located in Brentwood, CA, Oakview Shutters has been installing, repairing and refurnishing shutters and shades for more than 10 years. I had the opportunity to work closely with Joe, the founder of Oakview Shutters, to discuss and establish expectations and visions for his website to create and design a brand new site that would better showcase his work and advertise the business. The Process
Process included building user flow maps, researching competitors and client demographics, gathering testimonials, and collecting appropriate vendor information for product gallery. Wireframes were made to go over basic layout of site.
Color Palette
Starting from scratch, we had the freedom to play around with many color palettes. We chose to go with a neutral dark-brown palette in order to give the site a warm, elegant, and grounded feeling.
