Conducted screener surveys and interviews to create user personas and empathy maps to better understand the specific wants and needs of potential users.
Research Stage: Competitors
Researched competing apps and created a heuristic evaluation based on Nielsen Norman Group's 10 general principles for interaction design.

Content Strategy Stage
Conducted card sorts and created sitemaps and user flowcharts to better understand and visualize the in app experience.







Color Palette
The color palette for MyFitnessPal 2.0 is cool with monochromatic shades of blue. I wanted to keep the color scheme similar to the original app to maintain familiarity and simplicity.

Wireframes and Prototyping
Designed with simplicity in mind, I drafted lo-fi and hi-fi wireframes as well as prototypes that demonstrate a new on-boarding processes as well as features that enhance user experience for those getting started on their weight loss journey.
